The collage series has such a great sense of layering and surprise. It reminds me of krillion, where only uncommon answers score, so you're always hunting for the detail nobody else notices. That same instinct makes me linger longer on each cut and texture here.
The way https://casinoargentreelqc.com relies on shuffled symbols isn't art, but it helped me understand how Bakshi reuses and resizes old comic panels and magazine scraps until they form a completely different scene. The $950 starting price for a piece stood out, since it makes the series feel like a tangible extension of his archive rather than just a digital experiment. I’ve kept a folder of vintage ads for years without doing much with them, and this makes me want to scan a few and try rearranging them myself.
