Television & Special Projects

Widely regarded as the pioneer of adult animation, Ralph Bakshi helped redefine the possibilities of the medium through a career spanning more than six decades. His groundbreaking projects continue to influence artists, filmmakers, and audiences around the world.

Bakshi's later projects are important because they show Ralph's influence extending beyond his own films. By the late 1980s and 1990s, many of the artists who would define modern animation were either working with him or inspired by the doors he had already opened.
